Mr. Harry Dumbleton, manager of Gas Works, Brunswick St, requests that the military be informed that two gas mains at north of Grand Canal St. Bridge, Grand Canal St are in danger of being blown up and he also fears the Gas Works may be taken possession of.

Also a lady who refused her name & address, called here & stated that the Sinn Fein Volunteers were breaking down the walls between 5, 6, 7 & 8 North Earl St. and have ordered the people out of these houses.
