Telegram received from the Commissioner, Belfast 8.40pm received in Chief Secretary’s Office at 9.46pm.

“Following telegram received from the CI Ennikillen- Please inform Headquarters have just heard from CI Ennis that detachment by motors from here last night has not yet arrived. Am trying to trace them by wire.

Commissioner, Belfast.
