Major Meldon RD Fus in charge of military at Broadstone and N.C. road requests that the 7 Constables from D Division who are on duty in plain clothes at Portland Row, be relieved by Constables from that district as he wishes to have Police there who are acquainted with the district and inhabitants. He also wants to know if the Police can supply rations to plain clothes Constables who are helping the military and if not he will make arrangements to supply them.
