“County Inspector, Wexford, requires me to forward this message to the Inspector General.
In continuation of cipher – I had a force of 40 men assembled here to go to relief of Enniscorthy Barrack under my personal command., but “Defensible, Queenstown” directs that they be sent tonight to guard the Railway Line for passage of troops tonight for Rosslare, and that Enniscorthy await relief from the military. I am acting on this order.
