Telephone Message from CI Supple, Naas. Received at 1pm in RIC Office. 28/4/16

Wires received from County Inspectors of Howth, Bandon, Limerick and Tralee, that no disturbance was reported in their Counties, except some trifling cutting of telegraph wires in Limerick.

Cipher wire from the CI Wicklow despatched at 11.40am on 28/4. Received 12.45pm, 28/4.

All satisfactory in Bray and Arklow districts. No news Dunlavin, Carlow and Bagnalstown yet. DI Gorey wires Arklow as follows)- “I have taken police from Ferns and Camolin into Gorey. Roads and Railway line clear to 4 miles of Enniscorthy. Within that radius roads blocked by trees Scallawalsh Bridge 3 miles N. of Enniscorthy blown up. All enemy forces concentrated Enniscorthy. Otherwise all quiet in Co. Wexford.
