The Lord Lieutenant wishes you to preside over a Committee to consider and, subject to military concurrence in any matters affecting them, to deal with the question of the food supply of Dublin and its environs. The Committee will consist of the following members besides yourself.

Colonel Edgeworth Johnstone Chief Commissioner DMP
EH Andrews Ensw of Messrs Andrews and Co, Dame Street
Patrick Leonard, Esq of Messrs Leonard and Co,
You are at libery to add to this Committee any gentlemen you think could assist you on it .
Captain RC Kelly will be Secretary to the Committee and will assist you in giving effect to its decisions.
The Committee will meet at 11am this morning at the Chief Commissioners Office, Dublin Castle and hereafter as you may direct.
