From SS Plunkett to Chief Supt

The Rebels are now breaking into the Police Courts at rear of the Four Courts. There are 18 Constables in the Bridewell and they have only a few revolvers. Subsequently, the Chief Supt made enquiry and ascertained from SS. Plunkett that they were not sure if they were breaking in, but they had heard hammering at the door of the Police Courts and thought they were breaking in
