“Wires between Galbally and Bruff… between Bruff and Ballylanders were cut”

Wire from the CI Cork: handed in at Cork at 9.15pm and received in Chief Secretary’s Office at 11.15pm on 27th April 1916.

CI at Limerick wires telegraph wires between Galbally and Bruff and between Bruff and Ballylanders were cut, otherwise all is quiet in that County. The City of Limerick the CI states is in occupation of troops. C.I. Enniskillen wires that all is quiet in Clare.
